The Shadow King, directed by Henry Selick for Disney, was never finished. The movie's production was shut down due to creative differences. More than a decade later, however, Henry Selick has revealed some good news that may lead to the stop-motion story's revival! Henry Selick is the same director of The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline, as well as the recent Wendell & Wild from Netflix. Because he and Disney had already collaborated with Jack Skellington's holiday adventure, they were ready to start up again in The Shadow King. While the movie didn't end up getting finished, there's still room for hope...
