Star Wars is one of Disney Studios' biggest franchises, second only to the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it’s only natural that they’d want to hide easter eggs from the franchise in the rest of its films and movies? Or maybe the creators behind Disney and Pixar animations are just as obsessed with Star Wars as we are?
With twelve Star Wars films in total, the options were endless for these Disney and Pixar creators looking to add tidbits of their favorite film into another, or even take reference from them unconsciously—they’ve probably watched and studied Star Wars multiple times after all!
Either way, we’ve gone through films like Lightyear, Toy Story 1 through 4, and Up and found Pixar easter eggs, Disney easter eggs, and Star Wars references you never would have guessed existed. Some are hidden in plain sight, and by that, we mean Star Wars lines have been plucked straight from the film and into another character's vocabulary. While others are a little more hidden. There are even Pixar characters based off of Star Wars characters. Ready to find out who?
