Disney shut down Blue Sky Studios, but Blue Sky was actually working on a wild animated movie based on Nimona, the fantasy webcomic series. While Nimona was cancelled with the studio's shutdown, we have new details about what happened behind the scenes. It's not pretty. Blue Sky Studios brought movies like Ice Age, Robots, Rio, Peanuts, and more to theaters. Disney decided to continue the Ice Age franchise with their own production studios, but they're not finishing what was started with Nimona. Why is that?
