Thank you for watching my special Disney edition of random ranking. In this special Disney edition we will be ranking the following Disney animated movies - The Little Mermaid (1989), The Rescuers Down Under (1990), Treasure Planet (2002). In this video you will see a Random Ranking. Random Rankings are impromptu movie reviews in a sense. I go to my movie collection and pick out 3 movies at random and then rank them based on a variety of criteria - nostalgia, craft, story, actors, directors, genre, favorite, best, form, etc. Personally I find this project interesting because the movies chosen rarely have much in common, so the systems I use for ranking is always in flux. But I’m also curious how you would rank these movies based on your own criteria. Have you seen these movies, and if so, what did you think of them? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to talk movies with you! The Little Mermaid (1989) synopsis - In Disney's beguiling animated romp, rebellious 16-year-old mermaid Ariel (Jodi Benson) is fascinated with life on land. On one of her visits to the surface, which are forbidden by her controlling father, King Triton, she falls for a human prince. Determined to be with her new love, Ariel makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula (Pat Carroll) to become human for three days. But when plans go awry for the star-crossed lovers, the king must make the ultimate sacrifice for his daughter. The Rescuers Down Under (1990) synopsis - Cody (Adam Ryen), a boy living in the Australian outback, frees a rare golden eagle from a trap. When an evil poacher (George C. Scott) kidnaps Cody to catch the eagle, a group of local animals contacts the Rescue Aid Society in New York City, who assign their top mice, Bernard (Bob Newhart) and Bianca (Eva Gabor), to the case. To save Cody and the eagle, the agents fly to Australia on a clumsy albatross (John Candy) and enlist the help of an adventurous kangaroo rat (Tristan Rogers). Treasure Planet (2002) - The legendary "loot of a thousand worlds" inspires an intergalactic treasure hunt when 15-year-old Jim Hawkins stumbles upon a map to the greatest pirate trove in the universe in Walt Disney Pictures' thrilling animated space adventure, "Treasure Planet." Based on one of the greatest adventure stories ever told - Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" - this film follows Jim's fantastic journey across a parallel universe as a cabin boy aboard a glittering space galleon. #moviecollection #physicalmedia #moviereview #interactiveyoutube #thelittlemermaid #therescuersdownunder #treasureplanet #bluraycollection #disneymovies #animation #Disneyrenaissance V677
