Diary of a Wimpy Kid's new movie on Disney Plus is officially here! Greg Heffley and Rowley Jefferson, his best friend, tackle the trials and tribulations of middle school. While this animated Wimpy Kid movie is faithful to the book, it's missing a lot of content. Diary of a Wimpy Kid series creator Jeff Kinney had a large role working on this new Disney Plus movie, so it does stay true to the source material. However, there's not enough time in its 58 minutes to fully develop the world of Greg Heffley, leading to a mixed adaptation. The good news is that future Wimpy Kid books, like Rodrick Rules, will also get animated movies! Could they fix the problem here? Welcome to Vailskibum94!
