After World War II, Walt Disney had finances stuck in Europe so he opted to start making live-action films in England. Those films cemented his love for the process as well as being able to financially keep the Disney Studio afloat. Throughout the 1950s, he would begin creating formulas, assembling a crew, and creating some of the best live-action films the studio has ever created including Treasure Island, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Old Yeller, The Shaggy Dog, and the Swiss Family Robinson.
