Some misguided Disney executives thought, "Hey, you know we should just close a whole bunch of our physical Disney Stores across the country, even though they are well-performing, so we can do more e-commerce and overcharge shipping and poorly package orders!" It was quite shocking news, but dozens of Disney Store locations across the US (and I believe Canada) are closing by March 23. ALL of the regular Disney Stores in Arizona are closing, so I went down to the Chandler Fashion Center Mall to go to my regular Disney Store for the very last time ever. The entire store was 25% off, with an additional $10 off coupon. Thankfully the Disney Store Outlet at Arizona Mills will remain open, but that will become the only Disney retail location in the entirety of the metro-Phoenix area.
