In this video, we eat at Walt Disney World resorts! We stop by Disney's Riviera Resort for lunch and snack on a Halloween-inspired treat at Disney's Beach Club Resort.
On September 25, 2020, we had a theme park reservation at Epcot, which is super close to a lot of fabulous Disney resorts! So, in the middle of the day, we hopped onto the Disney Skyliner transportation system and rode a gondola to Disney's Riviera Resort, which we had never ever visited before! We decided to mobile order our food at the quick service restaurant, Primo Piatto, and then we ate it outside. The Mr. got a sausage and pepperoni pizza while I ordered the croque monsieur. Overall, we felt like the food was a good value for the price we paid.
At this point, we hopped back onto the Skyliner and took a scenic gondola ride over to the stop by Art of Animation and Pop Century and then all the way back to the International Gateway station by Epcot. From there, we walked to Disney's Beach Club Resort so we could order a Halloween-inspired treat from the Beaches and Cream to-go window. We got a souvenir shake that included pumpkin-spiced butter pecan ice cream topped with a cupcake shaped like a Mickey Mouse pumpkin! It was also really delicious, but super filling! This is a treat you probably want to share with a friend.
In our Rambling Recap, we discuss which resort felt busier when we visited! Unsurprisingly, the Riviera Resort was more bustling than the Beach Club Resort. This makes sense since not all of the Beach Club Resort is open; only the Beach Club Villas (DVC) are open right now. Also, the Riviera Resort grounds seem more compact, as well.
