Disney World SHUTS DOWN Restaurant As Others Apply For Loans
The phased reopening of Walt Disney World had another set back last week as Epcot's Morocco Pavilion shut down the Tangierine Cafe Quick Service restaurant. In addition to that, the entire Kingdom of Morocco Pavilion as well as nearly a dozen other businesses that operate across Walt Disney World property have applied for government loans via the Paycheck Protection Program.
Disney World continues to try and balance low capacity restrictions with profitability during the global health crisis. Many third party businesses that operate at Walt Disney World have recently laid off employees to try and make up the difference that the low demand and even lower spending has had on their operations.
The Kingdom Report team discusses how Disney World is shutting down another restaurant as well as the state of the vacation kingdom of the world during such an uncertain time where even big name restaurants and stores are desperate for cash and continue to apply for bailout loans and supplemental support.
