Most of our favorite stories happened centuries ago in a land far far way. This is why we would love to see our favorite Disney characters in our world in 2017. Artists Hong and Tom Ward made our dreams come true by reimagining our favorite Disney princesses and other characters in our universe. This is why today, we are showing you 10 Disney movies reimagined in the modern day.
Belle from “Beauty and the Beast” was the most beautiful girl in her village. Unfortunately, if she had access to magazines nowadays, she would see that there is a lot of competition out there. The unrealistic beauty standards have a lot of impact on our self-esteem, and studies reported that even 5-year-olds are not satisfied with their bodies. You’ll have to watch our video to see what the Disney Princess looks like now in the world of plastic surgery.
We loved to see the beauty of China in “Mulan.” But in 2017, it is not as beautiful as you might think. If you look up, you can’t even see the sky because of the air pollution. It causes a lot of problems and can be really dangerous for the whole population. If Mulan wants to save her country, she will have to stop the production of coal. And instead of being dressed like a man, she’ll be wearing a mask.
