Did you have a weird pseudo-crush on the animated fox in Robin Hood? You are not alone, friend! At this point it's a fully established internet joke that Robin Hood was the most dashing outlaw in Sherwood Forest, and he sang some pretty great songs when he wasn't busy breaking hearts and robbing banks.
9.THE LITTLE MERMAID
The Little Mermaid is a film about a fierce independent woman (make that mermaid) who's sick of her dad telling her what to do, ditches the mer-patriarchy, battles a giant octopus, and lives life on her own terms. Good job, Disney.
8.CINDERELLA
Cinderella is a classic story of girl meets boy, boy is weirdly obsessed with shoes, boy and girl get married — but it also happens to feature the ultimate animated makeover, not to mention a fleet of singing mice.
7.BAMBI
Sure, Bambi is impossible to watch without weeping hysterically, but once you're over the trauma of Bambi's mom dying, the rest of the film is full of cheerful bunnies and shy skunks who just want to be BFFs (best forrest friends) with everyone.
6.THE LION KING
The Lion King might just be the best Disney movie of all time. Not only is it based on Hamlet (who knew?!), but it's full of beautiful original songs like "Hakuna Matata"
5.101 DALMATIANS
This is the movie that blessed the world with Cruella De Vil (shoutout to Disney for straight-up naming a villain Cruel Devil). Cruella alone makes this film one of Disney's best, but the dogs are pretty cute too.
4.LILO & STITCH
Otherwise known as the movie responsible for everyone (just us?) coming this close to getting a "Ohana means family" tattoo. Some Disney diehards might claim only the classics can top a "best of" list, but Lilo & Stich is glorious.
3.FROZEN
Did Frozen become such a pop cultural phenomenon that it was borderline annoying? Yes. Does that mean we're any less obsessed with Olaf the talking snowman who loves warm hugs? Absolutely not.
2.PETER PAN
Peter Pan is a true gem of a childhood classic about kids who simply want to stay kids forever, chill in a mermaid lagoon, fight pirates, and avoid ticking alligators. You know, the usual.
1.ALADDIN
Magic carpets, mysteriously blue genies, sarcastic parrots, and sinister dudes named Jafar hellbent on ruling Agrabah — what more could you possibly want from a Disney movie? Oh and the music will be stuck in your head all day too.
