Pixar have cancelled several movies before they managed to get off the ground in the past, and one such example is Monsters Inc. 2. The film was in development shortly after the first was such a hit and, on the right-handside of this image, you will see concept art for what Pixar were planning todo with the character of Mike. Quite why he looks so different we may never know, especially seeing as we don’t know the story. Many years later Disney did release the prequel, Monster’s University, and we do know that a sequel TV series is coming to Disney Plus soon. Will some of the abandoned ideas, like this new version of Mike, make their way into the show? Or will the ideas for the cancelled film be forever lost to time?
